Nokia 500 loaded with fabulous features

Share on :
Nokia is the most trustworthy and popular brand in India. The Finnish company is known for its best in quality feature phones. Nokia is blamed and downgraded for its low quality smartphones,  but all these are false allegations. Nokia has also provided some very good smartphone to Indian market. Nokia 500 is one of these phones, the Symbian based phone is full of advance and fabulous features. The aesthetically designed phone is crafted with grace and loaded with features that meet your daily needs. The youthful design and slim architecture provides wonderful grip and it make its use very handy and easy. The Nokia 500 is a true bar phone with its narrow rectangular front, on the back side  5MP camera and the speaker grill, and a nice curved back make it more elegant. The trendy design and soft-touch plastic finish of the battery cover is just fabulous. The 3.2” plain LCD display is bright enough, and, Nokia’s usual 360x640 pixels that has 229ppi pixel density, is above average for other phone lying in the same category, which helps during reading small text on the phone. The power button on the right below with the volume rocker, and all other ports are housed precisely at the top. The back cover slides out or in with ease on simple click, this make it easy to swap the battery cover when you get bored from the usual stuff. On the whole, phone has a nice comfortable design, which also goes well with the Nokia 500 price as well.
Nokia 500
As mentioned earlier, the phone operates on Symbian Anna OS which makes it faster than Nokia N8 and other Nokia phones that operate on Symbian 3 platform. The new Nokia 500 has a 1GHz processor, instead of the 680MHz of the older generation phones. The overall speed is good as compare to other phones of same price but it is not as fast as Nokia 701 which features better hardware and Symbian Belle optimization. Split-screen and a portrait virtual keyboard, which are the standard features of Symbian Anna OS are pretty good. The average screen size of 3.2-inch makes texting, sending email and typing a seamless experience. However, one can easily guess – bigger thumbs, and typing slows down significantly. The Symbian Anna browsert has an improved interface, but Adobe Flash support is amiss. The 1GHz processor makes the performance is much faster, though, and user experiences improved speed and smoothness of multitasking, zooming and the automatic text reflow, at least compared to the performance on handsets like the Nokia N8 and  Nokia C7 and other Nokia phones.

Nokia 500 comes with a 5MP camera that provides superb picture quality, the picture can be clicked by  pressing a little icon on the right side, and can switch into full automatic mode with a big fat on-screen shutterbutton, as there is no dedicated camera key. The handset also captures VGA video at 15fps. The 3G phone is also Wi-Fi enabled and comes with other standard connectivity features  Bluetooth and USB. The Nokia 500 is comes at a price of Rs. 9525, the price makes it very affordable phone. The Nokia 500 is a good deal at this price and features.
