The South Korean mobile manufacturer
seems to be currently concentrating on mid range tablet devices in
the Indian mobile segment. Due to the tremendously growth of the
low-cost Android tablet segment by the entry of many local and global
market players, the Samsung has revealed a budget tablet, Samsung
Galaxy Tab 2 311. The budget range Tablet is available for
pre-booking at the official Samsung e-store and it is to be a Wi-Fi
variant. Well, the company is also creating hype regarding the launch
of the Tab 3 rumors, which is expected to be released at MWC 2013
next month. Till date there is no confirmation regarding the launch
of this smartphone but it would be in the first week of this month.
The tablet is enabled with many apps like My Education app that
provides the user about the content from 1st to 12th Class CBSE,
10,000 educational videos, 1200 text books and many more. The Samsung
Galaxy Tab 2 311 price in India has been revealed by Samsung India
and it is placed at INR 13,900.
Concerning the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 311
features, it sports a 7 inches PLS LCD capacitive touchscreen display
which comes with a screen resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels. The
display is also loaded with 170 ppi of pixel density, 16 M colors
support and multi-touch input capability. The device uses TouchWiz UX
user interface for better customizations and best experience. The
gadget comes with three variants like 8GB or 16GB or 32GB so, the
consumer can pick the best according to their memory requirements. In
addition to this the smart device is loaded with an external memory
slot which can be expandable up to 64 GB via microSD type memory
card. For addition performance, the tablet packs with a 1GB of RAM
memory. In terms of connectivity, the handset will features with
Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, dual-band, Bluetooth v3.0
with A2DP and microUSB slot of v2.0.

The tablet ensures great photography
experience with its dual cameras on front and rear end. The primary
rear camera is loaded with a 3.15 megapixels lens which is having a
image recording resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. The camera also
supports with features like geo-tagging and smile detection. The
camera is capable to shoot HD videos with a resolution of 720 pixels
at 30 fps. To make video calling or chatting, the device is packed
with a front facing VGA camera.
The device runs on the Android's v4.1
Jelly Bean mobile operating system and provides lot of user friendly

supporting with TI OMAP 4430 chipset and PowerVR SGX540 graphic

To provide high communication services, the smart tablet is in built with instant messengers like G-Talk, Google+ and ChatOn.
