Today Google has finally launched Google drive which is another option for storing your stuffs in the cloud. But everyone curious to know that what actually it is? It is nothing but another way or option to store any of your data online. In practice, it is just a big upgrade to Google docs. Instead of 1GB capacity of file storage it has up to 5GB storage capacity of your any type of file whether it is Image, Document file, videos, songs, documents. There is another more interesting point about google drive is when you open your drive page, there is a default view which show all your Docs work and uploaded files in rough alphabetical order, with folder-like “collections” first. Why would anyone want to look at their files in alphabetical order? Because the way Google sees it, they’re not really your files, and they’re only in loose structures, and you should just think of what you want to look at and retrieve it.
Multiple accounts can even be connected to a single device, each with its own free 5GB.
Google Drive will also take advantage of advanced features such as smart tagging and image recognition. For example, Google will automatically recognize objects and people in the images users upload. The next time the user enters those search terms, their own images will pop up, without the user having to manually tag them. Google Drive users can even open up to 30 different types of files straight from a web browser, whether or not the necessary software is installed on the computer they're currently using.
